Privacy Policy

Draft placeholder

This is a working draft written for the Tarn prototype. It is not final and it is not legal advice. A reviewed policy will replace it before Tarn is live. The principles below, though, are the point. They hold whether or not the legal language has caught up to them.

Our privacy principles

A dream is among the most personal things a person can share. So privacy is not a setting in Tarn. It is the same ethic as the product, applied to your data.

What this prototype does with your dream

In this prototype, a dream you submit stays on your own device. It is saved locally in your browser and is not sent to a server, not stored by us, and not shared. Clearing your browser data removes it. There are no accounts and no passwords in the prototype.

Dreams are sensitive

A dream can be personal. When Tarn is live, dream content will be treated as sensitive information: encrypted in transit and at rest, visible only to the dreamer and the practitioner they choose, and never sold or used to train models without explicit, opt-in consent.

What a live version would collect

Each would be handled under the sensitivity commitments above, with access limited to the people directly involved.

Your choices

When live, you will be able to export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Questions about privacy can go to the contact page.
